Hello, my name is Nassim from France. I am raising funds for my friend Umm Malak and her family from Gaza, Palestine. They currently live in the Nuseirat camp in Central Gaza. The Malak family are suffering from the famine and the lack of medicine entering the area. More about their situation below : The family is composed of Umm, her husband and their two young sons, Bilal and Sami. In 2023, the Malak family’s house was bombed by the occupation army. They were forcibly displaced and ended up in the Nuseirat refugee camp in Central Gaza. The area was the first to suffer many bombings and massacres nearly every day. Hundreds of Palestinians were killed by the occupation army in Central Gaza. The Malak’s family survived many massacres, however the bombings left Umm’s husband and Sami badly injured. However, the constant attacks are not the only problem that they are facing. Palestinians have been suffering from the lack of aid entering the Gaza Strip, mainly food, drinkable water and medicine. For example, painkillers are very hard to find and very expensive. All of the aid in Gaza has become insanely expensive, especially food. It’s not uncommon for a single bag of flour to cost up to 600 US dollars nowadays. The entire Gaza Strip has been suffering from a man-made famine for almost a full year now. The Malak’s family has been surviving by eating what they could find, such as cactus plants and moldy biscuits. Their health conditions have been worsening at an alarming rate. I have decided to create this fundraiser to help them take care of their basic needs such as buying food and medicine for Umm’s husband and their son Sami. Please donate if you can. Anything helps !
